I know that should not create problems but I am not sure what should I put into dns entries
[snip] whose dns entries....?? DNS entries where...???
I think there in not any requirement for dedicated net connection at all places
[snip] Ofcourse our dear friend, therz no need for a dedicated net connection at all place. Can u pls refer to my prev mail 2.
so the problem is when user@remote.comp.com sends email to anyone@yahoo.com the problem is how would that be sent one way to do that would be NAT but that would not be proper soln.
[snip] oh gawd....;) Pls, RTFM. U have lot of DOCs to read. NAT figures nowhere in the picture. Why would u hav to NAT emails over to the internet. Wat u only need is a a local mail server with a single central local mail server connected to the net 24x7x365
is there anything which can be setup at sendmail level, if so how ?? any good howtos ?? links ??
[snip] Hmm....for the stuff that u have mentioned, my kind suggestion would b to get some professional help. Considering the magnitude of the email solution i think itz wise to do it a professional way.
There r a lot many gnu-linux/ s/w dudes on this ML who will b willing to help u out PROFESIONALLY.
I have no right undermining ny1 here.....but my observation stands as above.
Pls start by start by visiting http://www.tldp.org.

Thanks,
Hiten.
