Self loading anything is a big security hole. Even if it is restricted to userspace. A device driver on most of today's os loads into kernel space and could freak out on your machine. We have enough problems from userland on some of the crap that label themselves os without the added joy of autoloading various crap suitably trojaned. It is a daft suggestion.
