Hard disk is no factor as regular ones come with them no matter what . Good RAM is nice and should provide a slot for further expansion .
All the devices including wifi, nic, audio, Bluetooth, web cam were detected and usable even from the live disk. (audio volume will need some twicking in future as it quite low).
Maybe due to multiple speakers . One might not have been detected/recognised. Anyways since we are talking about ubuntu .. no surprise here !
