AFAIK...replication usin dd(or nt other raw disk transfer) isn't a very feasible option. The times will wear u out and partition inconsistency is reported most of the time.... If ny o u succeed in this deisk replication ...then do post it on this list, i think many of us would benefit from this.

yes, dd can be used for that purpose, but it will take a lot of time.
Ghost works very fast. I dont know anyother way to do that.
