I have downloaded ISO images of the first three Fedora 3 CDs using Bittorrent - there are two more to go. When I try to burn the images to CD, however, k3b tells me that the file "seems not be a usable CD image". Can't figure out what is happening here. Does Bittorent wait for all the images to be downloaed before rejigging the files into usable ISO images?
You could say that. The size does not guarantee that the images are complete. Use the md5sum to verify that.
