HI
I have couple of Novell Netware 4.11 based servers mainly used for DOS based client for remote booting and legacy application. I really like Novell NDS service. It is extremely convenient way of managing servers. I want to now migrate to Novell NetWare to Linux (Suse Linux). Are there any comprehensive How-tos or guides available?
I'm not sure how helpful this is:
You can connect to a Linux box from PCs that can boot DOS.
I tried SSHDos a few days ago. I'm now able to connect to an SSH box via a DOS workstation running a packet driver for my Intel EtherExpress card.
You need a packet driver for your LAN card(available with the LAN card driver disk or via (www.crynwr.com), a DOS bootable floppy, and SSHDOS. You need not have MS DOS, even FreeDOS would be enough.
Thank you
