thanks, I will try it out. Just for the benefit of others, after some googling I found out about "ethtool" which too might be useful in such circumstances. Shourya

Hi all,
Can anyone help me setup the link speed in my machine. I am using Fedora Core 2 and have a 100Mbps Ethernet Card. I want to make the speed as 10Mbps Full Duplex. Is there a way that i can do it?
mii-tool(8) is your friend.

RTFM.
man (8) mii-tool shows:
SIOCGMIIPHY on 'eth?' failed: Operation not supported The interface in question does not support MII queries. Most likely, it does not have MII tranceivers, at all.
