I strongly disagree with both your comment and the message on the link you have sent. I have loaded PCQuest linux in place of Mandrake 9 which I had acquired a couple of months ago. It loaded seamlessly and has not given me any problem so far. I do not know what it will do if you tweek with it since I have basic uses and not serious technical ones. All my hardware are standard hardware and it detected and worked properly. Incidentally, I use a 810 Motherboard with Intel PIII 800 Mhz, 256 MB ram, 2 x 40GB HDDs, CDWriter, DVDROM and printer.
The major advantage which PCQuest seems to have is that it is modified and packaged to suite the Indian user. Personally, I think it is a good job done.
