Hi,
Very interesting discussions on the effect of GPLv3 on Linux, the kernel and GNU/Linux distributions. http://radar.oreilly.com/archives/2007/04/gplv3_linux_and.html
It discusses many of the corner cases and analyses the effects of glibc going to LGPL and distribution copyrights. It helped me to understand many of the issues in a better way.
