Sometime Today, DRR cobbled together some glyphs to say:
Could you just give me a pointer as what the issue exactly is? I mean what is the difference between the Windoze and the Free client? I heard that the Windows client keeps scanning the ports and picks one which is available. Is this the 'magic'?
libyahoo2 already does all of this, so it's not the answer. Perhaps you need to analyse your network traffic using a packet analyser like ethereal or something and then come up with an idea of what the difference is.
