I am definitely interested in Siji Sunny's proposal on a presentation on Linux for ARM devices!
I just got my Raspberry Pi on Saturday, played with it most of Sunday.
I'm also planning to develop some projects on Beaglebone Black.
Cubieboard A20 is also a good board to develop with.
P.S.: I'm new to Linux, and got interested in it because of the interest the Raspberry Pi had generated. Just installed Ubuntu 12.04 on one of the office PCs a few days back, and am currently on a learning curve! On 29 Sep 2013 10:32, "jitendra" jituviju@gmail.com wrote:

I think it is a good idea to combine a couple of events. However, I
would
suggest an agenda so that people of each respective interest group
have
an
idea of what will be discussed.
There is currently discussion ongoing on the MumPy (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/mumpy) and the MumJS (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/mumbaijs) Google Groups about topics. They should be finalised in the next couple of weeks. I will cross-post a summary of that discussion here, once it has been finalized, so that everyone here knows which topics will be covered by them.
In the meantime, we can get our agenda fixed. Please share suggestions on this thread.
My suggestions about activities for the Mumbai LUG meeting and Ubuntu Release Party:
- Showcase the features of Ubuntu 13.10 (desktop, server)
- Showcase your FOSS project (maximum 3 projects can be showcased due
to time constraints) 3. Spotlight: Showcase a GNU/Linux distribution (other than Ubuntu because that will already be covered!)
Hi Rigved,
Good going ! Am in.
So are you planning for a full day event ? If so we can accommodate some more topics.
If people are interested and time permits, I can conduct session on our various Embedded Linux/Android experiments with ARM-development boards
such
as Beaglebone, Cubieboard, Via-APC, RPi etc.
Also I can get some experts, who can deliver sessions on Linux Multimedia framework, OpenSource GIS systems, OpenSource TTS etc.
