I tried both. They are really different, but I want to know the fundamental difference between them. Why they are different? Where they are use differently?
Seriously, they are 2 different GUI (I know they are called DE's) interfaces. The primary difference being GNOME is based on Gtk+ and KDE is based on Qt.
