Dear All, Hi, this is Hakim here , new member of linux mumbai group, nice to be a part of this group.
I have a problem in Redhat enterprise linux EL Ver 3.0 kernel. plz help me out in this regards.......
I had compiled redhat linux kernel but after completing all steps when i reboot
it gives the error written below and stops booting ..
" VFS: cannot open root device "LABEL=/" or 00:00 please append a correct "root=" boot option Kernel panic:VFS:unable to mount root fs on 00:00 "
