Hello All,
I am using RedHat 7.2 on COMPAQ DL360 server.Am getting error in /var/log/message stating "ifup: Error, some other host already uses address X.Y.Z.W. network: Bringing up interface eth1: failed". This machine is already having one ip address on eth0.it is perfectly working.But when second NIC is configured and machine is booted up, got these kind of errors.
X.Y.Z.W ip is static IP.not getting from DHCP.also this ip is not allocated to other host.so,what could be the reason??
