thats an highly inefficient solution at best. Besides if i change my setup or lose the built up list its all gone. Heuristic scanners such as these are perfect for on-the-fly removal of ads. At absolutely no pain or modification to any damn file. The program itself hardly has any overhead and doesn't introduce any kind of latency in browsing. I've used tons of these ad removers including the hosts file approach, bfilter takes the cake. Even the mighty proxomitron for windows ain't good enough.
And if that ain't enough u can add the sneaky ones to the program's conf.
