Is this an hint that some of things (eg wifi card if it is present) won't work until a *real* (read crappy) system is installed?
i personally think it is a hint to the dealer to suggest 'upgrading' to a pirated M$
Or the fact that the dealer does not know what linux is or perhaps he cant recorgnise linux even if it came out of the computer and slapped him :-)
I have used it and it works very well. In fact, Acer in India gives official RHEL 3 with one year support.
