Hi all, I have redhat linux 8.0 server in my company, Which doesnt have xserver installed i want to install oracle 9i client in that server. I came to know that its not possible to install oracle clinet in that server since we dont have access to X server it impossible to install oracle 9i client in that server

Not to nitpick, but to implement what you said would require him to install the X server on his RH8 machine, wouldn't it? If he does install the X server on that machine then he can install oracle locally, no need for X forwarding and stuff...

if you have X on any machine on the network then try
xhost + telnet or ssh to server execute export DISPLAY=<your local machine ip>:0 then start oracle installer.
all out put will be on to your local machine
