Dear Rony,
Since the data file is on windows server I mount the CIFS to linux & I have pointed Tally.ini to see the mount z:\mnt\Tally
I am able to see the contents in Tally , but it frequently crashes or hangs and takes a lot of time to load the data.
As such it's working but every operation takes about 10 -20 mins to finish or just hangs..
With regards
Deepak

Hi. To cross check if your mount is not good, put the data in your local path that does not require mounting of any partition and if your application works fine there that you can look into mounting issues.
