Really? Again? Do you care to read the thread before attacking someone or do you just blindly attack people? Go be polite ( super high sarcasm ) somewhere else. I dont take kindly to people like you who want to homogenize the whole civilization as they see fit. You want to spread your philosophy? Do it *without* bothering other people or you'll meet with such replies.
Some poor sod? I dont wish to justify myself and my reply to you. You're taking the sides of a pirating, plagiarizing person who wants to "jump into linux code". Shows exactly what your standing is :) If you dont like my replies, ignore them and dont reply. If you do then face the consequences. BTW I had *not* replied to your post or referenced you directly or indirectly. Funny you should search out my replies and attack me. Speaks little about you.

ROFL! It is interesting to see how stupid or intelligent the ad algorithm really is. It did not really base it on the "mood" or such of the thread, it still just used only the words..(I guess all those words were used?) Still, lol! :P

I notice you used the word "We" all over the above para. s/We/I/. FYI, this is a FOSS help channel in a way -- not a conventional help desk but a _voluntary_ help. You must have seen multiple posts where people like Kartik, Rony, jtd, Kenneth, etc. have helped people on-list with answers to their queries. You too have done that on some occasions.
What people here do not generally tolerate is people asking questions without any prior effort (the please do my homework kinds). I think it was suggested once before (dig into the mailing list for it) that instead of flaming someone for asking such questions, we could simply ignore them or point out to them politely that they ought to put in some effort on their own with google/irc/list archives before they post this.
The key word is polite.

Its evident that you dont read the links posted or make the effort to understand what is being said so I'll summarize the keywords from : http://www.linuxchix.org/about-linuxchix.html , "be polite" and "be helpful" ; which you obviously _dont want to_ comprehend at all.
As for *-women groups ; besides LinuxChix, Debian-Women, Fedora-Women, Gnome-Women, KDE-Women, Ubntu-Women and Apache-Women already exist ; formed precisely because of the negative behaviour people like you exhibit. Your negativity manages to negate all the nice work done by hundreds of others, which is what the TLDP FAQ says. So again, go and read it and try to understand it instead of bullying. In addition to books, you should also check out the kernel source code and start going through it. The code is somewhat well documented and should come in handy along with the books that you are reading.
Do drop by the http://kernelnewbies.org/ site and especially, http://kernelnewbies.org/KernelHacking section
You could try out:

I guess these are available in Indian editions as well.
