hey one thought computer software meant for the lay user must be intuitive in nature.
Every distro has a dialler by default. AFAIK wvdial, pon / poff is available on every distro including floppy based ones. And the distro is very intitutive to the distro creators and it's umpteen users. Please do not confuse one persons intution (or lack thereof) with another persons.
one doesn't have to go out and get a degree in software coding to install a dialer!!!!!
You dont. But reading about the stuff u r going to "intutively" install on your m/c does help to convert intution to fact. Configuration of a dialler to a specific localised ISP's requirements without sufficient information has very little to do with intution.
the comment below simply smacks of the disdain a sectin of the linux community has for the lay user.
Yeah?. Telling somone to read up before his intution screws his disk completely is disdain. Man get a life.
And while we are at it dont top post and do trim the irrelevant portions of the previous mail. Disk space and bandwidth does not come free u see.
