Hello Luggers, I am implementing a web based accounting software(http://www.sql-ledger.com) on GNU/Linux(PCQLinux 2004)I have set up the package properly as documented on the site. But now while starting postgresql i get the following error
"DBI connect failed : FATAL: No pg_hba.conf entry for host localhost, user postgres, database template1"
If anybody previously worked with sql-ledger please help me out.
(special thanks to Dr.Nagarjun and Devdas Bhagat who suggested the software)
Regards, Rohit Baisakhiya.

Your problem is not with sql-ledger. The error seems to point towards a configuration issue. pg_hba.conf is a postgres config. file. You do not have access to user postgres for database template1 ( could also be no access from localhost)...
read the postgres documentation for giving proper access.
If anybody previously worked with sql-ledger please help me out.

Edit pg_hba.conf, read the comments in the file and fix the file.
