Just a suggestions. In the time you searched, posted e-mail, replied to replies, you could have written the reader/parser library yourself. And may be released it under GPL and earned yourself a fame. :-)

That would mean writing the configuration files in XML which is not what I want. It would also entail slightly more effort to create the configuration file using emacs.
