Have you tried searching for "linux migration" on Google?
There are plenty of whitepapers and case studies (whats the difference?) available, and I bet there are a few outlining different frameworks.
btw, is this a xxx to Linux migration or vice-versa? :-)

hi puneet there is an IBM redbook on linux migration . also you can contact me off the list if you need any specific queries. we have seen a few migrations too
