By flash he meant pendrive. If u use uclinux you will fit into 32mb, leaving 32 mb free. And u have 4 usb ports to connect a pendrive.

You must be joking again. Go look at the price per gigabyte.

Price per GB btwn slim box and x86. It's going to stay the same. But the x86 has the advantage of a usb connection permitting many more options like pendrive, and an ide i/f which (afaik) the slimbox does not.

Did you even bother to read the details of the squeezebox? You obviously didn't.

I always check facts before faffing.The slimbox is about 7 months old (afair). And was not cost effective then at $200 (afair). It isnt any better now.

Huh? Are you saying the squeezebox doesn't have low power consumption? How does miniITX introduce portability?

Please read the thread. U seem to have missed the earlier discussion. Power consumption and ready out of the box is the only advantage the slimbox has.

Please try to write in a way such that you can convey information.

Suggest u read a little more, particularly this thread.
