Hi All
I had a Redhat Enterprise 4 ES, running on my system and lately i installed a fedora 4, Now i am not able to boot back to Redhat.
Here is what i did~
Redhat -OS /boot -> hda1 / -hda2 Swap ->hda3
Fedora Core4 -OS / -> hda4 Uses the same swap
And presently Fedora is bootable so i mount Redhat boot hda1 and copy all the main files (vmlinuz, SystemMap, initrd and config) files on to the /boot directory of Fedora Boot directory inside directory called REDHAT.
Added title here the /boot/redhat/vmlinuz-EL (path) ro /dev/hda4 Initrd here.../boot/redhat/initrd.El
And it boots up and detects everything then
Mounting root system kjournald starting ext3-fs:mounted filesystem mount:error 2 mounting none Switching to new root Warning: can't access (null) exec of init ((null)) failed!!!:14 umount /initrd/dev failed:2 Kernel panic
Does anybody has a working fedora and redhat-el and why is that grub now doesn't detect the other OS,would this be due to SELINUX?
Regards Rajat

have you tried turning off selinux?have you tried booting into RH by setting your /boot->hda1 as active boot partition?
If you can boot into both oses by without bootloader, by setting the boot flag (in)active there must be some misconfig in bootloader, if you cant boot into RH by boot flag method think what may have gone wrong while in bathroom!
cannot boot by flag method = some thing wrong some RHCE on the list will help
can boot by this method = bootloader isnt configured well
I'm windows like linux user, correct me if I'm wrong
