No. The APIC does not play very well with linux. But once noapic option is passed to the kernel, it works very well with linux. As usual, uptime 11 months and counting.
I never use doze and havent done so for years. Last boot to XP was 2 years ago (afair). However i will be forced to pay good money for one copy as i have to test some web pages for proper rendering on FF on doze / IE.
