Not directly GNU/Linux-related, but hoping this would see our members' participation in strength. FN

Hi All,
The CSI Goa Chapter, plans to start-up PC User Meets, for users of PCs (Office users, professionals using PCs, Home users, student users, etc.).
These (open to everyone) meets are planned to help PC Users get more out of their PCs by way of productivity and overall usage and awareness.
We plan to have these meets on the second Saturday of every month, from 4 to 6 PM so that they're convenient for all sections of PC users. The meets will be "open to all" for no charge and are proposed be held at the CSI office in Panjim (and maybe sometime alternatively in Margao too -- if there's demand for it there).
The plan for the meet is a short talk (30 min) by an advanced PC User on some of the tools/technologies and tips-n-tricks with normal usage PC Software. This will be followed by a usual informal question-answer and discussion session.
We plan to take requests from attendees for topics and schedule and cover these topics, as part of the CSI Goa Chapter activities in the areas of de-mystifying and e-nabling better PC usage.
It's proposed to start-off with a session this Second Saturday (14th Dec 2002 4 PM to 6 PM), where one of our members has offered to take a session on Email. Suggestions for future sessions will also be accepted.
I'm sending you this email, as I need your ideas/suggestions on the same. If you're a PC user that would like some special sessions taken, let us know. If you're an advanced PC User that thinks you "have something to share" with the rest of Goa's PC users, write-in... Or even if you "just have some ideas/suggestions you think may be useful", email us.
You can email us at office@csi-goa.org.
Keep in touch.
Regards,
Ricky Noronha Online -- Goa (For CSI Goa Chapter, Activities Committee - 2002).
