You are cordially invited to attend a talk by Dr. Nimmi Rangaswamy on " Expanding Urban Frontiers: Village Internet Kiosks". Dr. Rangaswamy is Associate Researcher for Microsoft Research India Private Limited. She will draw on her experiences of working on the Microsoft research program that looks at the interaction of the social fabric of spaces on the fringes of urban areas and I.T. Dr. Rangaswamy is trained in social anthropology from Delhi University and has a doctorate in Sociology from University of Mumbai.
This talk is organized in collaboration with Max Muller Bhavan, Mumbai.
