I have the following configuration. Redhat 9 with 2.4 kernel and using the dlink internal modem DFM-560IS+++.

This modem drivers are compiled with kernel version 2 so there is a compatibility issue.

Got an external modem and it works fine. However the Cost difference is 4x. So would like to know if there is any internal modem known to have worked seamlessly with the above configuration? Your feedback is highly appreciated Thank you!
