Hi
We have a redhat 9 linux file server in our office. We would like to have a realtime virus scanner running on it so that proliferating viruses can be detected as soon as possible.
There are commercial AV which can do this, but the simple solution will be using a dazako (forgive if the spelling is not correct) module with clamav.
dazuko is very beta. Anyway, without proper policy and single point entry to your network you might as well forget about the problem and go fishing or rock climbing instead.

Thanks.
I will have a look at the samba-vscan option. We are in the process of setting up a proxy server Dansguardian so there will be a single point entry. There is a antivirus plugin for that too so that should help.
