Hello,
The next meetup can be held on 16th (Sunday). Is anyone against this date?
I will check with the Debian Diaspora team if anyone can take a Debian Packaging session over IRC. Will inform here about results.
If anyone else wants to take any sessions related to GNU/Linux, they are more than welcome to do so.
Best Regards, Rigved
Can we have the February event in Bandra (West) ? We have set-up a new venue called the Hive which has a capacity of 50 seating with a projector and screen.

Hello,
Can we have the February event in Bandra (West) ?
The event has already been announced on the other groups, like Python, JavaScript and Debian user groups. I am against changing the venue for the February event. Many people attend all three events, so keeping them at the same location is important. However, we can definitely consider the Bandra venue for the March event.
We have set-up a new venue called the Hive which has a capacity of 50 seating with a projector and screen.
Could you please provide more information on the venue, like address and Internet connectivity?
Also, would you have any problems if the other user groups had their meetups along with the GNU/Linux meetup?
Best Regards, Rigved

Thanks for sharing information about the venue. We can definitely discuss about holding future meetups at the Hive, at the Feb meetup at Directi.

Awesome!
So, just an update for everyone. The Debian Diaspora team does not have enough members to spare for the meetup. But Vasudev Kamath has agreed to conduct a Debian Packaging session over IRC, as part of this event on 16th Feb, 2014. The event will run between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Then, we can have our usual 1 hour break and resume with the Python and JavaScript meetups.

The IRC session will be conducted on the #debian-in channel on OFTC. People can come to the venue (Directiplex) and get set-up for the session. I am working on getting audio setup as Google Hangouts is not possible for the speaker.
