hi! I'm using an Acer Sx computer in my office, and i installed Suse 6.4 on it yesterday... I could configure X easily..it auto detected and selected the SVGA server, with DAC, and proper video memory... startx fired the X and i gleefully "moused" away.. the problem occured when i logged out of KDE....i couldnt get to a text console! none of the consoles work! all i get is vertical lines......and different colors on diferent consoles..!!! And so i had to take recourse to the poweroff button...cant shutdown!! arrgg..pointers please!!
