Hello,
I am facing problem with McAfee Uvscan on Linux servers. Uvscan is getting corrupted(??). When I check its version with 'uvscan --version' it also gives 'segmentation fault'.
Is anybody else facing similar problem?? Faulty update? Any new virus?
Well it is 'not a issue of licence'.
Any solution ...
Thanx in advance.

Hi all, I have opted for Hathway Cable internet connection and I hope that it would be available in this week.
Before that, can anyone share any tips/docs/links about configuring the same on Redhat/Knoppix?
Thanks and Regards, Kiran Ghag Web Page: http://kiran7.freeservers.com

Worst Month of the Year: February. February has only 28 days in it, which means that if you rent an apartment, you are paying for three full days you don't get. Try to avoid Februarys whenever possible. -- Steve Rubenstein

There's no special configuration required. There's a ethernet cable coming out of the modem which goes into your network card.

Would this mean I boot using Knoppix and internet stuff is running automatically ??

hello karunakar
I an using hathway connection via a modem provided by them on RHEL 3. The only configuration you require to do is the ip settings provided by them. And your ready to browse.

The Only thing that can go wrong with an hatway connection is that they register ur mac address, so if u change ur lan card or machine u want be able to use it, in which case u will have to call up their customer support and ask them to RESET their settings. which shall take some where around 15 mins, for the changes to take effect. Regards Yayat.
---- I think February is the Best Month Of The Year, Cause if you are working for some one, u have to work only for 28 Days, but are paid for 30/31 days. Yayati.

Nah, rebooting the modem fixes that. No need to call.

They don't note the MAC address of your LAN card. They note the MAC address of the modem's interface. I use my laptop and desktop interchangeably without any issues.
