Hi, I have SUSE 9.2. How to Share Internet for Linux server to other windows
You will have to setup it up as a NAT box. Your Linux server should have two NICs. The first connects to your internal network, and the other connects to your Internet connection.
For starters, you can try running something like shorewall. It will give you a firewall + NAT functionality.
If you have a low-end machine that is unused (as low as a 80386), you can try running a floppy based distro like coyote.

define default route on the server which is having 2 nics. edit squid.conf and start squid . all mechines including windows clients connected though second nic can get internet
