List,
Came across this article on pcworld. Thought it would be an interesting read for the "community" to understand what the 'average' end user wants. :) Indicative, not necessarily correct. But good to an extent.

From past couple of years of experience in this arena, I have found that it is easier to introduce the Linux desktop to those who have no prior computer experience at all and toughest to those with "20 years of Windows desktop experience." It is the latter group that resists the switch and also a good majority of them have no qualms in using warez.

Warez would be 90% if not higher. The finance sector is full of warez. The ones not using warez have to justify the bad spend by throwing good money to cover up.
It's only after a few cycles of coverups AND a disaster, that people take the plunge, IF they have a linux savvy vendor.

I clicked on this link and when scrolling down my FC10 hung. Mouse cursor was moving, but nothing else working. Maybe I should quit? (would have done so long ago, but cannot find a halfway decent alternative)
Ooh...you've got teh interwebs actually working under 'GNU/Linux'?
(sorry for the top post)
