It is our pleasure to invite you to “GNUnify ‘05”- the FREE SOFTWARE event organized by Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR).

As a part of our efforts to spread IT every year we organize-"GNUnify", which aims at contributing and encouraging the use of Free/Open Source Software. "GNUnify" was initiated in the year of 2003, as a forum to unite open minds. The event aims at spreading the philosophy of GNU Linux, unifying and strengthening the open source movement, sharing and spreading knowledge.

GNUnify 2003 and GNUnify 2004 witnessed the success of various events like Techie Talks, Install Fest, Tutorials, and Workshops. Eminent speakers like Dr. Richard M.Stallman, President and Founder of FSF, USA, Mr. Naba Kumar, GNOME Organizations Mr. Robert Adkins, Technetra, California, Ms. Alolita Sharma, Technetra, California, and their likes, graced the event in the previous two years. Some of the topics of the talks include Wireless Technology Deployment using GNU/Linux, Collaborative Open Source Project Revenue Models, Guerialla-Warfare in Gyan and its kinds.

Upholding the success of past two years the students of M Sc(CA) are organizing GNUnify 05' the 3 day activity during Feb 13-15,2005. On the first day, there is a Linux Awareness Program for school Children. On the second day we have Install Fest, Techie Talks, Workshops and Tutorials. On the third day we have Seminars that will focus on a combination of managerial, social and technical topics in the areas of Free software/ Open Source.

We would like to cordially invite you for the event where you can deliver talks on topics either of your choice pertaining to FOSS or the ones mentioned on our website.You are also welcome to take part in TechieTalks, Workshops and Tutorials where you would be delivering technical knowledge to the audience.
