Hi all,
I am facing some problems with working on "php". I have installed Apache 2 as the webserver on a RedHat 9.I also have mysql installed.
I downloaded the php-5.0.2 source and on running the ./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs2 there are no error messages. make and make install also don't give any error messages.
In the httpd.conf file th following lines were added
LoadModule php5_module modules/libphp5.so AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
But then upon opening any "php" file I still get a blank page in the browser. The Apache server is works well with html files.
I will be greatful for the help.Thanks in advance.

---- Cut Here ---- <?php phpinfo(); ?> ---- Stop Here ----
Rgeards,

Please check the php.ini to make sure that "<?" tags are allowed not just "<?php"
ie short_open_tag is enabled.
