Hi, I am looking for compact Webserver for manipulating data received from embedded devices. The requirements are, 1. Free 2. Works on linux and window. 2. Support for CGI and perl (if possible) 3. Fast, light weight. Any inputs?

You can try either thttpd (http://freshmeat.net/projects/thttpd/) or lighttpd (http://www.lighttpd.net/). Other choice are Boa and Apache.
