I am a student, studying BSc (Information Technology, Final year , in a college in Mumbai. My other three friends and I are now in Semester V and are thinking of doing a Live Project (Industry Based) for our Semester VI.

Please guide me how to go about this. Also, what kind of skill set does the industry expect from a student?

Which are the companies that offer Live projects for students and what is the procedure for applying for obtaining a Live Project?
