Thanks Atul,
You really can't be my servant. Cause my dignity is on the same lines as his and you are no where near that.

Somethings I don't want to say....
I am not sure how many guys had problems with Atul Chitnis. But I am sure that THERE'LL BE MANY(including me)!
No, I'm not trying to say that he is a $#@%^. He 'may be' a good person but he doesn't know how to talk(or mail) to people even at this age(40+ - almost the age of my dad). Hope that he'll take some time out to his 'busy schedule' to learn the basic manners and politeness.
I feel pity for the mailing lists he admins. :(
With high hopes, Mejo

Hi
I actually went through the whole post again....
- almost the age of my dad). Hope that he'll take some time
out to his 'busy schedule' to learn the basic manners and politeness.
I prolly am not on any lists he admins, but from the post, I don't see how the last 2 posts have addressed such basic norms as _not_ top posting, or trimming off tails in mails.

I apologize for the content/format of the post.

I just wanted everyone to read the entire thread to know what's the reason for my such a posting.
Morning Mejo,
While there has been significant issues in the past with pple adhereing to rules and regulations i beg to differ.
Simply cause of the following......
We have been part of this group majorly "Just For Fun" I don't see why one should start policing this mailing list anytime soon Just cause one has learnt what "Net-iquette" means doesn't empower
him/her to bully the others to complying with the same.
To encourage participation we have to be more than a little lax To enforce all your "Red-Tapism" puts of most on-the-fringe enthusiats
We shall call for all on this list to adhere to the norms but i do not see....anyone turning into a GLug-Bom Mailing list cop anytime soon. We already have a philip around.
PN: If anyone has any issues with anyone else please feel free to express the same.
Trevor
Enough already! It really is (or should be) OK if people slip up sometimes.
Keeping in mind the demographics of this mailing list members, Its highly unlikely that such members deliberately are trying to defy the "RULES" of a mailing list. Yes, sometimes slip ups happens and sometimes its just plain laziness in not reading the rules upfront.. But then ignorance is not a crime.. every once in a while a new member would make an error.. hey, even old members make errors some times.
If the mailing list "COPS" are so concerned about the net-etiquette, it would be great if they could privately address the erring member rather than posting on the list... And maintain a log if you are really so anal about the mailing list rules.. and when the count by the erring member reaches some reasonable limit, then take some action like posting on the group etc etc.
These are ofcourse suggestions as i am sincerely hoping this mail is the last one to discuss any particular member or harping on and on about "rules" and guidelines...Lets move on to some interesting linux discussion please.
:)

I dont see why this thread started in our mailing list at all. I dont see any relevance. Please stop the thread.
If we should discuss mailing list manners etc, please start a thread, or discuss that based on some notes posted by some one. Please dont use this mailing list for assassinating the character of any person.
