This is the ILUG Mumbai list and are you sure this is the place where you can get people to attend the conference ?

IMHO, a post in FSF-India or ILUG Cochin would be more appropriate.

Btw, my interest in this post is because my permanent residence is now in Chitrangali Road, just behind the Hill Palace Museum, Thiruvankulam so it's just 5 minutes from your venue (VHSS Irumpanam) , but the sad part is I am working in Mumbai now and can't make it because of my work.
