i am not familiar with this modem, but what is the problem that you are having? normally, modems work as generic devices. have you tried connecting with minicom?

you can try the following:

as root, echo AT > /dev/ttyS0 (or whichever is your modem port), and see if the lights come out (if you have an external modem).

start minicom (as root), and configure it to use the correct port. (try the help if you don't know how). Then type AT<enter>. You should get a response of OK.
