Please note that this is about giving your Yahoo/MSN info to third party. There's nothing wrong in giving Yahoo/MSN's login/passwd to Yahoo/MSN itself, no matter if its a new kid around the block or an old heavy weight. What Yahoo/MSN will do with your info is clearly mentioned in their TOS.
I am tired of listening to things that I already knew much much before. Arey where is the solution? How do I chat?
Dont we use third party IM clients? God knows what they are doing with our passwords. It might take some time before a back door is discovered, and thats equally bad.
What about the alternate email IDs these people ask for. Yahoo! might not abuse its own ID but might do so with a GMail ID. I am not accusing, but I am just curious.

You know what? those internet access restrictions are there so that you spend your time in your work/studies.
