Hi Friends, I wonder if somebody can help me to make my HP LJ 1000 (USB) Printer work on Red Hat Linux 9.0 / Fedora Relese 1 / Red Hat Enterprise 3.0 any one of them. I have tried with all these versions of linux. kudzu detects the printer ...it installs the drives .... but when i fire a file to print nothing happens .... the appears for few seconds in printque and the disappears ... Exapecting fruitful help from lug members.

HP color laserjet 1000 is not supported under linux. Check linuxprinting.org for details.

Get the driver, follow the installation instructions and Happy Printing. I successfully installed it on my PC running Debian(testing/unstable) GNU/Linux.
