Hi guys,

I recently downloaded and compiled a new kernel 2.4.4 But, whenever i boot into this kernel, i am not able to use linuxconf, mount, etc since they are broken. When i boot into the old kernel, i still able to. What could be the reason. Will i have to install newer versions or have i done something wrong while compiling.
