Hi,
In the Feb meeting I can provide a overview on GUI programming using qt.
Anyone of you interested in sharing some info for the jan meeting. Do come up with whatever you can, I need to decide about what the agenda will be for the meet.
Bye.

I can talk about regexes.
That was very quick, thanks, how much time will you need for speaking on regexec? (can you tell breifly about regexes on this list as well?).

I heard there was a talk on LVM last meeting... If people here are interested, I can talk on Storage Area Networking...of course it wont be linux-specific!

That's good, there is no need to have something similar, we can always have something new every time, It is better to have something new everytime. How much time will you require for the talk?

30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 7 days... how much do you want?

man grep would be just as effective, or you could search the archives. I've posted a bit in the past. There's also my regex slides up at http://www.acm.org/chapters/bombay/ you'll have to search for it in there.

I did not realize that regex stood for regular experessions, it will be fun to have a session on regex. I thing aprox 1-2 hours will be great. Let me know if you need more or less time. I am putting it on the Agenda.

do we have 2 hours available in the meeting?
Yes we do, 2 hours will include a question answer sessions so I think that a 1:30 mins explaination, and then approx 30 mins of Q&A will do. I do not know the time of the meeting, hope that it is as usualy at 4-4:30, so 2 hours from that time and then a small discussion on Storage Area Network (approx 1 hour) will probably suffice for this meeting, if you think that 2 hours is long then let me know.

Hey, slow down, man! Leave lots of time for general tp and a free-for-all (the verbal discussion kind, i mean). Too much of lecturing makes a dull LUG meet!
Sameer.
