Yes sameer you're on top of the problem :). Try creating a symlink /usr/src/linux-2.6.xx to your kernel.
Thanks Dinesh, I would try to create a sym link as you have mentioned but can you please explain about how to overwrite the present hard link. Because unless it is overwirtten the problem won't be solved. (This is as far as I know ) The hard link would have a higher priority over the softer one.
