Read various accounts of the successfull mini-debconf held in Pune.
Congratulations to all the organisers and participants. Just wondering... with almost 200 participants (as reported) why should it have been called *mini* debconf. To me it looked like a proper debconf.
Keep up the good work. Hope I can attend the next one

DebConf is really large scale event. We yet to learn many more things. And, yes - we never expected such great response when we started the idea!
I wish that more 'developers' will join us. This time it overlapped Main DebConf schedule.

I did attend the Mini Debconf in Pune on the 7th and 8th of August and I must congragulate Praveen A, Abhijeet, Vipul, Pavithran, Karthik, Onkar, Vikram, Ragavendra for all the hard word put in behind organising such a wonderful event.
This was the best FOSS event I have attended till date, where I could learn hands on about Debian Packaging. (Thanks to Praveen A and Karthik).
I have blogged about my experiences at MiniDeb Conf Pune on my blog.
