i don't know what it is? today i read an ad in the times of india (pune) by compaq for its one the laptops. it says it has pre-installed linux version 9.1. first i thouoght the ad is given by some local retailer, but it was not. it is an official compaq-hp ad. but "linux version 9.1"???? not a mistake to be made by company of this size.

I think HP/Compaq is installing Mandrake Linux 9.1 on the laptops but the earlier advertisements also mentioned Linux 9.1.
