Synovel Technologies is an open source product start up founded by graduates of IIIT Hyderabad and is based out of Hyderabad. Having been recently angel-funded, they are currently looking to hire full time employees for the product development. The candidates should be passionate about open source development, self-driven and must be proficient in the technologies they know.

There are two roles on offer: a) Linux hacker with experience in handling various servers (email, jabber etc.), server side programming abilities with knowledge of any scripting language. The candidate must have over at least two years of experience in hacking (maybe at college or work or wherever!) and should be proficient in what they do.

b) Php + Ajax developers with at least two years of experience in development of such web applications (back-end or front-end). Should have previously developed at least two web applications based on these technologies.

Note from Synovel: We are not looking for people who were on the teams that worked on these projects, we are looking for people who involved hands in actual development! The dirtier your hands got, the better your chances of getting picked up by us.
